Vam Investments, a leading private equity investor in Italy, together with the De Menego family and the Demenego management team, have sold their stake in the company to Montefiore Investment, a pan-European private equity fund focused on small and medium-sized enterprises. The management team will retain its operational roles within the company and has reinvested alongside the founding family.

Founded in 1960 in Calalzo di Cadore, Veneto, Demenego is a leading Italian optical chain specializing in eyecare, with a network of approximately 40 stores and a strong presence in the north-east of Italy.

Dawan Corporate Finance acted as the financial advisor to the selling shareholders, managing all phases of the sale process.
